I’m Daylie Smith, the creative strategist behind Smith Creative Consulting.

My approach to creative direction comes from working across worlds that do not usually overlap. My experience spans corporate and consumer branding with names including Club Pilates, Dalvina, REVOLVE and Birdy Grey, alongside celebrity and culture-driven work with Kerwin Frost and Illegal Civilization, TikTok brand partnerships, social media strategy and digital marketing.

Working across fashion, production, fitness, entertainment, social media and brand development taught me something important: the best creative strategy rarely comes from following the industry formula. It comes from understanding culture, recognizing what people actually respond to and knowing how to translate that instinct into an image, campaign or brand people remember.

I’ve spent the past four years working across the creative industries of Los Angeles and San Francisco, building an understanding of how brands, culture and audiences intersect on both sides of California. With a degree in Communication Design, my approach combines a foundation in visual communication with hands-on experience in branding, fashion, digital marketing and creative strategy. Now expanding into Nashville, I’m bringing that perspective into a new creative market while continuing to work with individuals and brands across Los Angeles, San Francisco and beyond.
